Position Overview Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Aerospace Mechanical Engineer. This role is a Direct Hire Program opening. The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,500 - $99,000 a year. The salary for this role is $80,000 and includes a one‑time $6,000 signing bonus and relocation package. Responsibilities Provide technical design, analysis, and guidance for new product development, improvements, test components, rigs, and systems. Lead and participate in efforts to solve problems with product design, inspection, manufacturing, and test encountered by vendors, company operations personnel, and customers. Serve as technical contact and liaison between Mechanical Engineering and internal and external customers. Coordinate with Project Engineering and Program Management to support targets and milestones for project budgets and schedules. Create and/or guide the creation of technical documents, including Engineering drawings (following ASME Y14.5, Y14.34), test procedures, test reports, and design review material. Support IR&D projects and implementation of new technologies such as Additive Manufacturing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with a graduation date no later than August 2025. Minimum of one internship or co‑op experience completed at the time of this application. Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8. Geographic flexibility to relocate within the United States. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance: All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or astrophysics. Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community. Two or more relevant internships or co‑op experiences. Design engineering experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts. Position Criteria This role may include travel (up to 10%) within a local region as determined by the Assignment Manager. Ability to relocate to one of the following Eaton facilities: Westminster, MD.
