Brydon CEOinResidence (CIR) Program
Brydon selects 6 midcareer executives each year to back as Brydon CEOs. The program includes:
- Equity investment to support you during a twoyear sourcing phase
- Investment of $2530M of equity (+ additional debt) behind each platform during the initial equity check and addon acquisitions
Requirements
- Partner with CIRs/CIR teams who have operating and/or industry experience, typically 512 years out of business school or equivalent
- Industryfocused theses win: your application should include subindustries / areas of interest or build upon Brydons core theses (vertical market software, regulatory & compliance services, technical services, healthcare services, etc.)
- Examples of candidates:
- Partner at a consulting firm with extensive work experience and deep understanding of the growth levers in a subindustry, interested in operating and building equity value in that subindustry.
- Experienced in a PEbacked rollup and sees a similar opportunity to pursue a thesis with dedicated capital and support.
- Ran a P&L or served as General Manager in a vertical and knows the space well; sees an opportunity to acquire small mom and pops to build an industryleading platform.
- If you have a thesisbased acquisition approach or an industry niche, wed love to discuss it.
- Dont have an industry thesis? We have several industries where we have deep relationships and experience and are looking for CIRs: Vertical SaaS (with a subfocus), GovTech, B2B Services, Healthcare / Healthcare Tech, Targeted RollUps, Compliance / Regulatory Software & Services.

Program Structure
- Week of intensive training in the Caribbean focused on sourcing, CRM best practices, and due diligence; CIRs begin outreach within the first week and typically reach LOI / CEO seat within a year.
- Encouraged to base and focus sourcing efforts where they want to live.
- Weekly oneonone sessions, cohort calls, and quarterly inperson offsites around the US to build connections, share insights, and support each other throughout sourcing and operating a small business.
Support
- Private equity sourcing, diligence, and operating resources: backed 4 cohorts and 22 individuals/teams to acquire small businesses in software, business services, healthcare services, and others.
- The Brydon team sources deals with CIRs; almost half of the deals closed in the last two years were sourced by the Brydon team.
- Playbooks and best practices from largecap PE applied across the journey: sourcing, diligence, closing, and operating.
Application Process
- Submit application by January 19, 2026, 11:59pm PST. Early applications encouraged; offers by early March.
- Selected individuals undergo interview and backgroundcheck process: several rounds of interviews, including inperson sessions with the Brydon leadership team and a final thesis presentation.
- CEOinResidence offers made in March; cohort start date May 12, 2026, in the Bahamas.
