COMPTROLLER - ACCOUNTANT - FULL TIME OR PART TIME

We are looking for a skilled COMPTROLLER - ACCOUNTANT - FULL TIME OR PART  TIME  to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Looking for someone who has knowledge of Accounts payable and Accounts receivable, a person who will be responsible for cross-training within the department and will work closely with our Finance team, This person should have the knowledge to create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal requirements compliance, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree and is familiar with accounting software packages. 

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly financials and reports to management
• Prepare monthly binder with balance sheet backup
• Review payroll ledger
• Oversee accounting transaction-AR, AP, and inventory ie. cross train
• Reconcile the sub-ledger to the general ledger control account.
• Process and review commission reports for processing commissions
• File sales tax returns monthly for Florida and quarterly for California
• Filing of forms 1099
• Enter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statements

Skills

• Proven accounting experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• The high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
