Job Description

Job Title: Corporate Paralegal

Location: West Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

Schedule: Full-time, in office

Pay Rate: Up to $40/hr

Duration: Temporary role through January
About the Role:
A leading real estate company in West LA is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to provide support during a maternity leave. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to important legal and corporate matters while working closely with senior leadership. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day corporate entity management, including forming LLCs, preparing resolutions, maintaining organizational charts, and securing required certificates
  • Draft and organize materials for Board and Committee meetings
  • Provide support on corporate transactions, including document review, due diligence, and closing coordination
  • Assist with company compliance filings, annual reporting, and corporate governance documents
  • Maintain company policies, monitor litigation matters, and help track intellectual property
  • Perform notarial services (or willingness to become certified)
  • Provide general administrative assistance, including processing invoices, coordinating signatures, preparing mailings, and organizing legal files
  • Contribute to special projects and assist with other legal or corporate initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a corporate or real estate paralegal
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree and an ABA-approved paralegal certificate (or CA equivalent)
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with executives, staff, and outside partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and adaptable to new systems or applications
  • Notary public commission a plus
