Come join our A&W restaurant in Wausau, Wisconsin. A&W's looking for friendly, helpful individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include taking orders or preparing the food, assisting in resolving any service or food issues, maintaining food‑safety standards and maintaining a clean, safe work and dining environment. Part/Full time pay: 14-15 year olds - up to $12/hour 16-18 year olds - up to $14/hour Adults - up to $15/hour Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team at a fast‑paced quick service restaurant. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. This position requires a commitment to teamwork and a passion for providing a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining area, and service counters. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Provide assistance to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Skills Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations. Experience in food preparation or culinary arts is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Familiarity with café or restaurant operations is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining high standards. Experience with BRINK POS systems is a plus, enhancing order processing efficiency. A helpful attitude towards customers and team members, fostering a positive work environment.
