Low Voltage Technician (Entry-Level) Job Overview

We’re hiring two entry-level Low Voltage Technicians to support a specialized assembly project. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the electrical and communications field, we want to hear from you!

• Perform independent electrical terminations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use hand and power tools with confidence and precision.
• Understand and distinguish between AC and DC electrical systems.
• Support installation of communications systems including:
  • CCTV
  • Security systems
  • Access control systems
• Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

• Basic construction or electrical experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools and wire pulling.
• Ability to perform termination testing.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with electrical installation practices.

• DCJS certification (preferred, not required).
• Experience with access control systems and head-end equipment .
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
• Willingness to take direction and apply feedback constructively.

• Indoor, non-climate-controlled facility.
• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM .
• PPE provided (except boots, which must be supplied by the employee).

• Based in Ruther Glen, Virginia

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
