PART-TIME, AFTER-SCHOOL: 4 days/week on the UWS! Overview This family with four children on the UWS is looking for an after-school nanny to work in tandem with their full-time nanny to tackle the afternoon and evening routine. It's Monday through Thursday, so you'll have Fridays and the weekends off! This is a school year position lasting through June.The children are 7, 10, 13 and 15. Your primary focus will be the 7 and 10 year old, in tandem with their full-time nanny. The position will start in early September. The Ideal Candidate for this Job The best candidates for this role have been nannies that have experience with families that have three or more children and/or fully staffed household. If you love the idea of working on a team and working closely with another nanny, this is the position for you! Each day is a little different and the best candidates have a go-with-the-flow and supportive outlook. Jumping in, helping with dinner, keeping schedules organized, and an ability to set boundaries are absolutely key here! Candidates that have experience with children who have ADHD, ODD, or similar will be best for this role. Schedule Monday through Thursday: 2:30/3:00 PM to 9:00 PM About the Children 10-year-old, girl: Your main focus! She has dyslexia and, ADHD. Tends to have a lot of anxiety and frustration that is directed outwards. A little more of a handful, but can be so full of love and empathy. She’s very outgoing and uninhibited.15-year-old, boy: He's a teenager! He sleeps a lot, eats a lot. He loves ramen so you'll see him making that for himself a lot. He’s pretty independent! He’s creative and very sensitive and sweet.13-years-old, girl: She’s super together and organized. She's a rule follower, which can be deceiving. More reserved until you get to know her.7-years-old, boys: Little professor man. So much fun! Loves dinosaurs and snakes. Responsibilities This is an after-school role where everyday will look a little different. You'll assist with school pick-up and then take an uber/taxi/but to various after-school activities. Then it's home for homework, dinner, and tidying up. From there, it's the bedtime routine! Helping to keep things organized and tidy is part of the job, but cleaning and laundry are not! Additional Information This role is supervised by the full-time nanny primarily.
