Job Description

Overview

Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a full-time programmer/analyst. This position provides technical support, problem analysis and programming and integration skills in support of the college's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. This position may be required to respond to computer emergencies on an as-needed basis.

Essential Duties

  • Provides technical and functional support, configuration, and development for the College's CRM systems, including monitoring upgrades for enhancements, conducting technical testing and supporting functional areas with business process testing
  • Serves as technical and functional support for database modules and related enterprise resource planning (ERP) auxiliary databases by developing complex technical solutions that include design, development, coding, testing, and ongoing support
  • Maintains the accuracy and integrity of data for meeting mandated reporting requirements, including MHEC, MACC, etc., documenting applicable procedures, and collaborating with others to ensure any problems are diagnosed and corrected
  • Analyzes and remediates problems with programs, subroutines, etc. written by vendors, assist with testing/troubleshooting programs by other programmers and contacting vendors for technical support
  • Develops, tests and maintains application programming interfaces (API) and data integrations between the CRMs, ERP and other college systems
  • Develops and maintains documentation
  • Assists with planning for the implementation of new and existing systems, including developing specifications for writing new programs, training staff and guiding the development of such programs
  • Keeps pace with technologies by attending technical conferences and training, and monitoring ERP vendor product developments
  • Contributes to the college's annual and five-year comprehensive department assessment process as per the college assessment plan
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five years of related work experience, including experience with ERPs and CRMs or similar systems (four years of additional related work experience can be substituted for the education requirement)
  • Most recent work experience must include SQL, MS Dynamics, 365 Online, API development and/or Business Intelligence (BI) tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer and highly technical computer application skills
  • Valid driver's license
Supplemental Information

This is a full-time standard administrative position with excellent fringe benefits. Days and Hours of work are Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (1 hour lunch). The starting salary for this position will likely range from $73,400 to approximately $89,950 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Employees in this position who live in Maryland, Delaware or one of Maryland's reciprocal states may submit a request for a hybrid work arrangement after six months of continuous employment and at least one successful performance review.
