As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as required during emergency and/or crisis situations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities and incidents during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
