Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Provide direct virtual instruction using research-based teaching methodologies
• Create and modify instructional materials for accessibility and engagement
• Conduct ongoing assessment and progress monitoring activities
• Collaborate with educational teams to support inclusive practices
• Facilitate parent involvement and maintain regular communication
• Ensure adherence to special education compliance requirements
• Participate in continuous professional development initiatives

Student Support Services

Work with students experiencing various disabilities including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and developmental delays. Provide both academic and functional skill instruction while supporting social-emotional development and independence building across all age groups.

Virtual Learning Environment

Our advanced platform offers comprehensive tools for effective remote special education delivery including interactive learning modules, adaptive assessment tools, and communication systems designed to foster meaningful student-teacher connections and family engagement.

Qualification Standards

• Master's degree in Special Education
• Current Michigan special education teaching license
• Two years of direct special education experience required
• Virtual instruction experience preferred
• Proficiency with educational technology and digital platforms
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong advocacy and collaboration abilities
