Join Our Team as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)!

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our compassionate team of healthcare professionals. At Savannah River Speech, we prioritize the well-being and development of children through personalized, comprehensive speech and language therapy services, focusing on developmental delays and ASD.

Position: CF or CCC Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), will consider an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA/SLP-A)

Location: North Augusta, SC

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose communication disorders in pediatric patients with developmental delays, ASD, and other diagnoses.
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans that address specific communication goals and developmental milestones, tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support early intervention strategies and foster optimal growth and development in children with ASD and developmental delays.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to enhance speech and language skills, social communication abilities, AAC use, and overall communication competence in children.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), if applicable.
  • Completing Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) or Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), if applicable.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina, both SLP and SLPA/SLP-A.
  • Experience in working with children with developmental delays and ASD preferred; knowledge of ASD communication profiles and developmental milestones highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to working with children and families.
