Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Tacoma, WA, supporting K-12 students within a dynamic school environment. This contract position runs through the current school year and offers a rewarding setting for professionals dedicated to making a significant impact on students' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 45-50 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments, track student progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain compliance with state and district regulations, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to student support.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or willingness to obtain licensure.
• Must be fingerprinted through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) or willing to complete fingerprinting.
• Experience working in school settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school personnel.
• Ability to work onsite full-time, as virtual arrangements are not accepted.
