Commercial Property & Casualty Underwriter - Hybrid (Remote Potential)

Your Impact:

Evaluates information to determine risk acceptability in accordance with company guidelines.
Makes appropriate decisions based on the evaluation of underwriting information.
Effectively communicates and negotiates underwriting and pricing decisions to achieve optimal outcomes.
Documents decisions in accordance with regulatory standards.
Acts with a sense of urgency on all inquiries/requests.
Provides outstanding customer service.
Assists with the underwriting on a moderate book of business with a moderate to complex risk profile.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

Minimum of 2+ years experience
Must have the ability to react and respond quickly and professionally.
Must provide creative, analytical, and innovative thinking to inure to productive problem-solving.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Should have experience with writing non-admitted and admitted risks
Comfortable speaking with brokers and building long term relationships with independent insurance agencies helping them write new business.
