Warehouse Lead/Associates

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Lead/Associate to oversee daily operations at our distribution center. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, supporting the team to meet productivity goals, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures. This role serves as a key link between warehouse associates and management, providing hands-on leadership and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse associates in daily tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory, and replenishment activities.
• Assign duties and monitor workflow to ensure productivity, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new employees.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate operations and resolve issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate cycle counts or stock checks as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners when required.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including attendance and safety protocols.
• Assist in performance evaluations and provide feedback to management on associate performance.
• Prepare and maintain reports and logs as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or vocational training is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations.
• Prior experience in a leadership or team lead role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
