Our Inspection Company, a reputable 3rd party inspection lab, is on the search for a highly skilled NDT Level II X-Ray/CT Technical Expert to join our Michigan-based team. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced X-Ray and Computed Tomography (CT) inspections, often involving complex geometries and materials.
• Provide expert interpretation of inspection results, including defect characterization and dimensional analysis.
• Collaborate with clients to understand technical specifications and tailor inspection approaches.
• Conduct advanced setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of sophisticated NDT systems.
• Generate comprehensive technical reports and present findings to clients and internal teams.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and recommend improvements to inspection processes and equipment.

Recommended Qualifications:

• ASNT NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Computed Tomography (CT) with extensive practical experience.
• Demonstrated mastery of X-Ray and CT inspection techniques and data analysis.
• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of NDT principles, material properties, and defectology.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a methodical approach to technical challenges.
• Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility and self-motivation.
• Enthusiastic about relocating to Michigan for a long-term, impactful career.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NDT Level III certification in any method, or progression towards it.
• Experience with programming or scripting for NDT data automation or analysis.
• Prior experience training junior technicians.
• Background in a research or development environment within NDT.
