We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our client's team for the Day Shift on upcoming MSV outage projects across the United States. This role involves providing engineering and technical support for Main Steam Valve drop & swap nuclear outage project. Additionally, the position may involve leading smaller scope turn-key projects. Essential Duties:
• Provide engineering expertise for project site work, including service, repair, installations, or fleet outages.
• Advise on disassembly, repair, and assembly of power generation equipment and auxiliary systems; may support startup activities.
• Support troubleshooting activities.
• Answer questions and requests for engineering information.
• Ensure technical requirements are met and addresses technical issues with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• May assist project as site shift supervisor:
o Oversee site assigned project activity labor.
o Submit shift work activity reports and expense reports.
o Coordinate shift activities with the Project/Site Manager and notify them of issues impacting schedule or costs.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years' experience with Main Steam Valve Drop & Swap Projects
• 5+ years' of experience working on Steam Turbines or Generators
• 5+ years' experience with Nuclear Engineering Projects
• Willing to travel to multiple locations for projects
Compensation:
*OT, Travel Time, and Per Diem available*
$50/hr to $95/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
