FloSports is a world-class sports media company strategically positioned to be the essential destination for passionate sports fans, delighting them with live event coverage, breaking news, highlights, stats, rankings, and team and player profiles. THE ROLE:

FloSports, a leader and innovator in digital sports media, is currently seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our HR team. This person will provide full cycle, high volume recruiting services for the business while ensuring a phenomenal candidate and interview team experience . This position is based in Austin, Texas and will require in-office 4 days a week.

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our growing People Team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our engineering, product, and data teams to identify, engage, and hire the exceptional talent that powers FloSports’ innovation. This position offers the opportunity to own high-impact recruiting initiatives, enhance our hiring processes, and help shape the future of our technical teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical and specialized roles across Engineering, Product, and Data — from intake to offer acceptance.

  • Partner strategically with hiring managers and leadership to define talent needs, create targeted sourcing strategies, and deliver high-quality hires in a timely manner.

  • Build and nurture strong technical talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship-building with passive candidates.

  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring consistent, transparent, and engaging interactions throughout the hiring journey.

  • Implement creative closing strategies that align candidate motivations with FloSports’ mission and long-term goals.

  • Maintain and optimize ATS/CRM workflows to ensure data integrity and a seamless recruiting experience.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across interviewing, onboarding, and hiring best practices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on technical in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Proven ability to partner strategically with hiring managers and executives, influencing decisions with data and market insights.

  • Demonstrated success in building diverse pipelines and sourcing hard-to-find technical talent through creative outreach and community engagement.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills — you know how to sell both the role and the mission.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.

  • Deep understanding of recruiting metrics, technical assessments, and hiring best practices.

  • Proficiency with modern ATS/CRM platforms (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

  • A passion for sports, technology, and helping great people find meaningful work.
